What is GST withholding?

If you are selling new residential premises or new residential land you must give the Buyer a notice advising whether GST is applicable to the sale. If GST is applicable, the Buyer must pay the GST to the ATO at settlement, not to you.

For more information on this scheme visit the ATO’s website.
