What is the PEXA fee?

PEXA is the platform most Western Australian settlements are completed on. It charges a fee for each settlement. We pass that fee on to you as a disbursement, charged at cost.

Electronic lodgement has been compulsory for transfers, mortgages, discharges of mortgage and caveats since 1 December 2018. A settlement involving a party who represents themselves is lodged in paper instead.

The instant quote calculator shows the current fee in the figure it gives you, so you don’t have to look it up. See What is a settlement? for how the day itself works.
